Wittenberg University celebrates its graduates and their tremendous academic achievement each year with Commencement Exercises. Commencement 2023 is scheduled for 11:30 a.m. Saturday, May 13.

Class of 2023 Commencement Exercises

Wittenberg University is looking forward to celebrating the Class of 2023 in our traditional location of Commencement Hollow at 11:30 a.m. Saturday, May 13. In the event of inclement weather, Commencement Exercises will take place in Pam Evans Smith Arena, located in the Health, Wellness & Athletics (HWA) Complex.

Cap/Gowns: Graduate candidates who ordered their cap and gown during the Countdown to Commencement event on February 17 can pick them up at the campus bookstore. Graduate candidates who ordered their cap and gown through the Herff-Jones website will receive the items in the mail. If any graduate candidates still need to purchase a cap and gown, orders can be placed online at the Herff-Jones website until Monday, April 10, or purchases can be made in person at the campus bookstore until Friday, May 5. (The bookstore will carry limited sizes, so plan to purchase ASAP.)

Photography: Each year, the University partners with GradImages, a leader in Commencement photography, to take photos for purchase of graduates receiving their diplomas. More information on this service will be forthcoming.
